I was thinking to myself on what I would like to post about next for the blog, and I recalled my Senior Seminar project I did in college. It was a self-designed project that utilized the skills of your chosen degree program. I chose to design box art for three different fictitious games that I made up. While I didn't get to delve far into the details of each game, it was very fun to create the art and design the boxes for each one. So I decided I would share my favorite of the designs on the blog. I name of the game was "Forces of Nature". The basic idea I went with for the art was that you got to control a being that had certain elemental powers, depending on which one you chose. I wish I was a better digital artist. Maybe I will explore it more if I get a bit more free time. In any case, enjoy!

This is really nice, What program did you use to create it? GIMP is a good free software similar to Photoshop.
ReplyDeleteI drew the images, scanned them in, and then colored them in Photoshop. But I bet you could use GIMP the exact same way! I'm hoping to start drawing directly into the computer using my Wacom tablet in the near future.
