Lego Universe 2010-2012
While I'm not a big player of MMO's, it's always sad to see one permanently shut down. As of midnight this morning, Lego Universe shut down all remaining servers. Lego Universe never really caught on with players since it's release on October 26, 2010, even after going free-to-play in August of last year. With the virtual Lego juggernaut that is Minecraft becoming more and more popular over the last year, I wonder if that may be what attracted Lego fans.
In other MMO news the thirteen year old EverQuest will be going free-to-play in March following the success of it's sequel going free-to-play late last year.
